IDEAL SOLUTIONS FOR LIGHTING A BLIND BATHROOM
Nowadays more and more
homes have a blind bathroom, i.e. without a window. This solution is often
adopted when the square meters of the house are small and space needs to be
optimized. For this reason, most of the time the bathroom environment is
sacrificed. However, this does not mean that light is not important in the
latter, rather it is just the opposite. However, since there is no natural
light, it is advisable to light the room well to make it comfortable and
aesthetically pleasing. There are many solutions that can be used to light a
blind bathroom, one of which is to use LED devices. In a blind bathroom, it is
not advisable to point the light at the center of the room but to focus
attention on some points to make the environment scenographic and effective. An
example may be to use LED spotlight to be placed on beams, ceilings or stone
walls. On the sink instead, it is possible to place design suspensions that
give character and style.

Another a decidedly
innovative idea is to focus everything on the mirror. The latter must be
highlighted thanks to appliqués oriented directly on it or design strips. To
create an effect of natural light coming from above, it is possible to use fake
skylights. Nowadays, in fact, modern high-tech LEDs are used which reproduce
the light of the sun, guaranteeing a natural and welcoming effect. However, in
this
case, it is advisable to
prefer high-quality LEDs since economic solutions could create the opposite
effect.
Even the temperature of
the light is important when talking about a blind bathroom: generally, the LEDs
can have warm, cold or natural light. Warm light creates a decidedly hospitable
and relaxing atmosphere, a cold light ensures excellent visibility while
natural lighting can be used by those who prefer a non-artificial result. To
have an optimal light, however, it is necessary to control the lumens or the
unit of measurement of the LEDs (which are not measured in watts). The watt
measures the power of light while the lumen refers to the brightness visible to
the human eye. Therefore it will be necessary to rely on this data to correctly
choose the LED device to be inserted in the blind bath.
