HOW TO LIGHT A DARK KITCHEN
The
house is usually chosen according to one's tastes and the light and air that it
can guarantee.
Every
environment, therefore, must be bright and airy, bearing in mind that these
characteristics are fundamental especially in the kitchen which is the room
where you spend more time cooking, eating and, more often than not, if space
allows, to be in company with those you want most.
Unfortunately,
it is not always possible, for various reasons, to buy or rent an apartment
with the requirements previously outlined and in the case in which a property
with low light must be considered, because it has no balconies or badly
exposed, it is necessary to provide as soon as possible to solve the problem.
Certainly
this headache becomes even more serious if it occurs in the kitchen, given
that, as previously written, it is the most lived-in environment and as such it
must be made bright, organizing the artificial light where it is lacking.
Before
planning the right light it is advisable not to furnish the room in question
with furniture that weighs down on style and color, in fact, you must absolutely
insert clear and particularly linear elements.
It is
necessary to prefer handles, hoods, and refrigerators, possibly made of steel,
to make the light positioned on the roof reflect, thanks to the brightness of
this material, or, where it is considered appropriate, through spotlights or
chandeliers or led light bulbs.
It is
important to choose an ad hoc lighting, without exaggerating, because too much
light certainly creates the opposite effect compared to what you are trying to
achieve.
It would be
correct to establish so many points of light radiation, scattered in the whole
environment, in an autonomous way, to be able to turn them on when they are
really needed or all together if necessary.
For example,
over the kitchen cabinets, you can use the latest generation neon lights, while
underneath them a strip of the LED light.
On the roof
you can place a chandelier with LED light or, several spotlights to place and
distribute evenly, inside a plasterboard ceiling that is not at all expensive.
Moreover, if
the sofa is included in the kitchen furnishings because the room is large, it
would be nice to place a beautiful floor lamp next to the same element,
possibly made of light materials, such as rice paper that reveal the light.
The
distribution of light made in this way was recommended, in order to be able to
evaluate, at each point of brightness established independently of each other,
wattages that are not necessarily high. This is because, if it were to serve a
particularly high brightness, everything previously outlined could be turned on
simultaneously.
It is
suggested to use the warm light near the sofa and the natural light or, if you
like 001, in the rest of the kitchen.
