LIGHTING OF A PLASTERBOARD CEILING
There
can be many functions of a home ceiling. From the reduction of
the surface to be heated, with consequent savings from the economic point of
view, to a greater definition of zones and contours. With particular regard to
open spaces, i.e. without well-defined boundaries, the creation of false
ceilings have pleasantly allowed us to redefine the proportions of some areas,
establishing their functions fully and precisely, with consequent final the dynamism of the whole. Leaving aside for the moment the structural ambit
and making a jump towards the lighting of the environment in question, a
properly realized false ceiling represents the basis of an optimal and
functional lighting project.
Taking up what
has just been affirmed, it is good and right, during the design phase, to opt
for a lighting system that fully enhances the whole environment. Based on
the choice made, this is able to give the false ceiling a more or less
considerable height, reducing or extending the dimensions of the totality of
the illuminated surface. The led lighting system can, in turn, be composed and
secured by concealed, recessed, suspended or
visible elements. The first, the invisible ones, make up a
combination and harmony between practicality and an aesthetic impact which,
especially in modern environments, is an essential detail. Regarding the
built-in elements, these are certainly the most adopted
solution. They fit perfectly into the false ceiling, hiding the soul of
the fixture and highlighting only the illuminating part. Ultimately, we
should also mention the suspended and visible elements. This category
includes classic chandeliers, easy to install and relatively
inexpensive. Without a shadow of a doubt, among the most popular
artificial light sources at the moment are those that use LED technology. A
choice, that of LEDs, which will give results starting from the energy bill,
with a saving that comes from lower energy consumption. A good lighting
effect, a good idea to take full advantage of this energy, are the profiles for LED
strips.
These,
especially in environments that are not too extensive, ensure uniform lighting,
with color choices that can range from the classic white to the brightest
colors. Unlike halogen sources, which allow an accent to be placed on areas of
the house that are delimited and outlined, the LED strips produce background
lighting that is warm, continuous, diffused and pleasantly blurred. A sweet
background for a home that in this way will move away from a monochromatic and
monotonous routine, touching modernity attentive to the latest fashion trends.
